The Value of Knowledge
Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
Everyone knows that the theologian can spend years studying God without knowing Him. The astronomer can learn a great deal about God while denying that He exists. But it is also true that if you wish a close, intimate relationship with God, you must spend the effort studying and applying theology, which is another way of saying, learning His ways.
